This beautiful painted ceramic plate from the brush of the craftsman Turan features patterns of deer from the Hittite civilization. Entirely drawn by hand with a special technique, the product has been glazed and cooked at high temperature.
The deer symbol had a very important place in Hittite civilization. The frequent use of the depiction of deer on works of art and objects of worship; is frequent and represents identity with the Mother Goddess.
Intended for decorative use, the plate can be fixed vertically on a shelf or on a wall with the accessory supplied.
